Primary Level or “Children’s House”

The curriculum of the Primary Class is mostly individual lessons and some group lessons about practical life, the sensorial materials, language, mathematics, geometry, music, art, biology and geography.

This level includes learners between the ages of two and a half to around the age of six. Learners may enter any time of year when they are toilet trained and at approximately two and a half years of age.

The Primary Level includes learners who are a part of both the private, non profit (3k and afternoon care for 4k) as well as the public charter school (morning 1/2 day 4k and full day 5k).

HALF DAY PROGRAM is available for learners in 3K (tuition based) from 8am – 12pm, and learners in 4K (public charter) from 8am – 11:30 am. This option considers an uninterrupted morning work cycle, snack, and outdoor exploration.

FULL DAY PROGRAM is available for learners in 3k (tuition based) as well as learners in 5K (public charter) from 8am-3pm. Our morning half day 4K Half Day program is publicly funded through our charter school. Afternoon “wrap-around” care is available through our tuition-based program for 4k learners to extend the day from 11:30am-3pm. The Full Day program includes an uninterrupted morning work cycle, snack, and outdoor exploration. Learners who are in 5K are engaged in an afternoon work cycle, and 3K and 4K learners are offered the opportunity for quiet rest after lunch.
